As you may have heard, a Superior Court Judge ruled that the voters do not have the authority to enact Care Not Cash, that only the Board of Supervisors can enact this reform.

While this decision might slow us down, it will not stop us from enacting Care Not Cash.

Reforming the way we deliver services to the homeless is too important to let a single judge stop the will of the voters. Care Not Cash is a proven reform that will save lives and that is why Gavin Newsom will not stop fighting until it is implemented.

On Tuesday, May 13 at the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Gavin Newsom will reintroduce Care Not Cash. But to make sure that the will of the people is heard, Gavin needs your help.

Show Your Support for Care Not Cash

Join Supervisor Gavin Newsom on Tuesday, May 13 at 12:45 PM for an important rally on the steps of City Hall (Polk Street Side). Then, attend the Board of Supervisors meeting where Gavin will reintroduce Care Not Cash.

We realize this is short notice, but Gavin needs your support on Tuesday. If you can, please take off a couple hours from work on Tuesday afternoon to help Gavin ensure that the Board respects the will of the voters.

Please RSVP HERE for this important event.

If you have any questions, please email our Volunteer Coordinator or call our Campaign Headquarters at 359-0230.
